TEACH can only operate thanks to the continued and generous support of the many individuals and organisations that share our belief that we can alleviate poverty through the power of education.
By far the largest amount of money raised is through the many brave, defiant, creative and sometimes crazy people who take on one (or sometimes more) of our Challenges! We are eternally grateful to the many of you who take on scaling the heights of Kilimanjaro, endure the pain of a marathon, work together in Africa or fling yourself from a plane 10, 000 feet in the air!
We are just as proud of those of you who join in closer to home – cake sales, sponsored silences, gig nights, sports events – not only does your creativity continually astound and amuse us, but every penny is valuable in TEACH’s mission.

TEACH is also extremely grateful to the many individuals who take part in our monthly giving scheme. Together, this money is invaluable in providing TEACH with a steady income, so that we can plan, run and review our projects all year round.
Finally, we continue to work to forge partnerships with local and national businesses that share our vision that we can empower young people to make a positive change to their world.
TEACH’s core value of minimum administration costs means that the majority of every pound donated or raised goes directly into our projects and makes a real difference to the local communities that we pledge to work with.
The majority of our work is done by volunteers who share our vision and its thanks to these many individuals and organisations that we can continue to strive towards TEACH’s mission. This, and the fact that all TEACH team member trips are self-funded means we very much adhere to our principles. We live by our promise to minimise expenditure outside of that which goes directly into our projects to alleviate poverty through the power of education.
